This RFID-powered icon wall invites customers to place a physical boot onto a reader, triggering on-screen content that reveals the story behind the product. Live across flagship stores and adaptable for future rollouts, this concept deepens brand connection and transforms in-store discovery into a moment of meaning.

The Place and Learn wall is built around RFID sensors that recognise individual Dr. Martens products. When a customer places a boot on the reader, rich media content, featuring history, craftsmanship, and cultural context, plays instantly. This format allows visitors to connect with the heritage behind each design while navigating the experience independently. It’s intuitive, interactive, and highly effective at transforming static displays into active storytelling.
