We are going back to the AV Awards, and this time, we have four reasons to celebrate.
IUF is returning to the AV Awards with three projects named as finalists, while AVITdirect has been shortlisted for AV Start-Up of the Year.
The four nominations span interactive retail, retail media, live events and professional AV. Here is the work behind them.
1. Under Armour: Retail Project of the Year finalist
Created for Under Armour’s Liverpool store, Europe’s first in-store LED touch floor game transformed the shop floor into an interactive experience.
Customers could test their agility through two game modes using a touch-sensitive LED floor, wall-mounted display and real-time visual feedback. The result brought Under Armour’s focus on movement and performance directly into the store.
2. Cotswold Outdoor: Retail Project of the Year finalist
The Cotswold Outdoor retail media network created a connected platform for delivering and measuring relevant brand content across its stores.
It enables Cotswold Outdoor and its partners to reach customers while they are actively researching products and making purchase decisions.
3. Tommy’s: Event and Live Entertainment Project of the Year finalist
IUF delivered two connected experiences for runners and supporters at the 2026 London Landmarks Half Marathon.
The Supporter Wall displayed personalised messages as runners approached the 12.5-mile mark, triggered by their timing chips. At the finish, the Pink Carpet produced personalised photographs featuring each runner’s official chip time.
The activations delivered 1,600 photographs, 1,222 Supporter Wall triggers and 640 consented marketing contacts, without dependable on-site Wi-Fi or mobile signal.
4. AVITdirect: AV Start-Up of the Year
AVITdirect was created to make sourcing professional AV technology faster and more straightforward, backed by people with direct industry knowledge.
Its nomination recognises the progress made at an early stage of the business and the support of its team, customers, manufacturers and distribution partners.
Four nominations built on collaboration
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the shortlisted work. We look forward to joining the other finalists at the AV Awards 2026.
